All I know is it's going to take a miracle for the PS3 to come back, but Sony i think is more worried about profit.

C´mon people.. games wise, what would change if the PS3 managed to overtake the 360 before the end of this gen?...nothing, most 'big' 3rd party titles will continue to be released on both HD systems, regardless of who is 2nd or 3rd.

This gen is no longer that interesting (unless Natal and that PSdildo really get things going)....the Wii secured 1st place a long time ago, the PS3 probably won´t catch up to the 360, and even if it did, nothing would change as far as us gamers are concerned.

I haven't seen one of these threads for a while and if you brought this information up in one of the numerous PS3 Slim/World Domination threads, where the information would be relevent you'd be accused of trolling.

Most reasonable Sony fans and site regulars are aware of the maths and probably don't need this thread but for those that aren't reasonable or who are new, it never hurts to be made aware of the numbers. Afterall it is a sales and numbers site.

Yeah not questioning the quality of the work, just the frequency of it's re-upping.
