after 8 more hours of playing it.....it's up from a 3 out 10 to a 7 out of 10 .... please rent this game and see for yourself people ... if you like X-Men Origins Wolverine you will likee this game also

I thought the game was great...... Graphically it no where near as good as GTA or InFAMOUS....but the powers were great and a lot of fun to play around with...... also the city atmosphere was great....

I like Prototype its brain dead, mindless fun.

For me Prototype was lacking too. I didn't care about any of the characters. Traversing the environments was really boring in just running up everything without any button presses. It didn't take any skill. Mirrors Edge is so much more fun in this regard. And in Infamous aiming for ledges, power lines and sliding/gliding around the city was much better. Although I could knock the train tracks for taking no skill, but they were great if you just needed to get somewhere fast. Also I definitely cared way more about the main characters in Infamous as well and the option to play the game as good or evil is a plus too.

IMO, only pros for Prototype would be the speed and power in combat, some of the weapons and attack moves, absorbing/disguising as enemies and # of new abilities earned.
More cons would be mission repetition, annoying helicopters swat teams, the chase mission where you had to prevent all the helicopters from escaping and the huge boss that came out of the ground. One of the least enjoyable boss fights for me ever.

Overall, I would give Prototype a 6/10. Infamous I would give an 8.5/10.

So he hates it after 6 hours, but gives it a moderately good "I like it" score after 14 hours of playing?

Me thinks he is making all this up since he said "the only good thing is the graphics" and we all know that's about Prototype's weakest point.

I think this guy is just messin with ya'll seeing he has prototype avatar and his prasing it's graphics out of all the features prototype has.

You are not playing the game right if you are looking for character depth. Prototype is jsut not that type of game. Most fun can be had with prototype if you grab an old lady, take her high on top of a building and body slam her straight in to the ground.

Prototype has more in common with an arcade game than most people think... simple, mindless fun.
