The J man cant understand why people consider microsoft buying exclusivity as stealing when it is more understandable than sony buying devs/studios back in the day.

Buying the game makes a lot more sense. Buying the studio is a lot more risky investment and as a result some of Sony's studios have had closures recently.

They're mostly just timed exclusives. So it pisses off the other console owners who have to wait an extra 6 months or however long for their version.

It pissed off Sony console owners more who are brand sensitive and lose exclusivity.

It's not Microsofts fault that Sony relied on third parties. Before this gen started I told everyone the way to bring Sony down was to take away all their third party games. Sony has been forced to buy more companies to make games for them, just like Microsoft. They've blurred the lines over the dominant corporate library Sony once had. Buying doesn't matter, because Sony did that to begin with. People love dominant companies, which is why Sony has so many clinging to its lefts nut.

Because they are fanboys and hate on everything that MS does, even if their favorite console maker does the same thing.

I don't consider it stealing, but I think overall, relying on third parties to bring heavy hitters shows a lack of talent and in the end some other company can come and steal them away.
