As a setting, I like fantasy the most. But the art and setting isn't everything in a game.

Fantasy is no more creative than sci fi.  A lot of JRPGs have the fantasy setting and look where that has gotten them.  Developers seem to be afraid of breaking setting comventions.  I don't get why some people here hate sci fi though.

Very few games use the kind of classical fantasy that I like.

Heroes III would be the perfect example of how awesome classic fantasy art can be. (I also like Sci-fi)

I LOVE ICELAND!

American Sci-Fi = Fail
its toooooo cliche (infactmostamericanstuffisclichebutthatsjustthegeneralizingme)

while you see japanese Sci-Fi , makes you really feel that you are in the same universe and feel like that is part of your life, and include the Human element and the aliens actually having a personality of their own.

I like them.

But war... war never changes

That's good when it doesn't feature terrible writing, atrocious voice acting, and annoying characters.

lol...kinda pointless thread.

Bad sci-fi games = bad
good sci fi games = good

you mean bad English dub? its not really the anime's fault if the dub is annoying.

( Ps : watch Cowboy Bebop )
