skillz - We'll you would need to buy Uncharted too if you wanted the same thing as you get in the 160 gig. so unless a 160gig HD is less than 40 dollars there aint much difference in price

Other than a formal announcement, I don't think the slim could be any more official at this point.

Well, you can get Uncharted for about $25 off craigslist and the drive for about $40 too.

Amazon is selling it for $399.99 now. Was this some one day sale or am I missing something?

There are other sellers with lower prices, like Arsenal PC $369.95, is that what you were talking about?

A much faster HD at that. I would never use the standard PS3 HD, when you can upgrade to a faster drive, reduce loading time and increase performance.
