Just get it if you want it. It's cheap and it's a great game in many ways. The only thing i didn't care much for was the travel between cities but even that's kind of cool sometimes :p

Assassins Creed is a great game. Beautiful graphics and I love the gameplay. I am looking forward to Assassins Creed 2.

its not about sales. the game isn't fun , its boring, its by ubisoft , they didn't do any good game this gen all boring crap with good graphics.

if it gets GOTY then that proves that the reviewers are stupid and should just be ignored.

I know sales aren't everything, but is there a "bad game" that sold as much as AC did?

I suppose those would be the Interactive Achievement Awards, but those won't be until February-March next year. Can you wait that long? Because GameSpot is usually pretty good with awards (even if they do suck at everything else). We could also go by Game Critics Awards, which basically sums up the opinion of every major game critic. I'll see if I can find the website.
