Yeah, I know. I'm really excited to see what Kanto would look like in HG/SS.

I loved Gold version, in my opinion it was the best pokemon game ever, every other one was just crap....but unfortunately due to Nintendo's cheapness, fucking pricks, the battle animations remain basically the same as they were back in the gold version.

I simply refuse to buy anymore pokemon games till Nintendon't improve the battle animations, if they can improve the over world with an isometric 3D effect, which is great, then they can surely update and actually animate 2D battles properly, there is no excuse what's so ever, they have the money, they have the hardware in the DS, they have the capacity since games are now coming out on 256MB cartridges, and I think it's about time the battle animations gets overhauled.

The sad thing is that it won't happen, I suppose when the game can sell 4Million plus there isn't a need to put effort into them...sigh...seems like Nintendo's philosophy as of late.

Also, the pokemon anime sucks balls, the games in general are great, owned nearly all of them up untill now.
