I personally think a PS3 Slim + GT5 + Price Drop of any sort will make PS3's holiday a great one compared to now where Uncharted 2 is pretty much the only game I'm seriously waiting for.

That would be a big plus for me, but I'm not sure if they will add it to save on costs.
I hope they will eventually add it, maybe for the "premium" PS3s. 
PS3 slim with a $299 price tag would be massive this holiday season, not to mention if it's bundled with GT 5 and FF XIII!

Pretty much this... if the PS3 slim is still $399 with no real major additions or upgrades, I can't see it making much of a difference to the average consumer when deciding on which system to purchase.
