Why is it a fail from Sony? Because they didn't give you unlimited storage space? Suck it up and do what the rest of us do, clear some space.

The fact that you even have to do that on a console is......................

Where is the world going these days? :(

People don't know how to use a screwdriver anymore?

I think some just like to show a little indignation over having to use one if they want the benefits of increased drive space.

Oh yes. That and having to use a screw driver on a console = as difficult as gaming on a PC. That is unless you bought a pre-configured PC and don't know how to open the case much less upgrade it of course.

When is the last time you gamed on a console? 1994 maybe? The Sony Playstation, Sega Saturn, Nintendo 64, Playstation 2, Sega Dreamcast, Microsoft Xbox, Nintendo Gamecube, Sony PSP, Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony Playstation 3 and the Nintendo Wii have all had this problem of limited storage that one might have to delete to get new things on there. Before them, you still had limited memory game to game by having limited save spot

I responded to you by mistake. I was adressing some people that said OP should just delete some game installs. And I think the fact that you even have to install games on a console in the first place is ridiculous.

So I actually tried download Home yesterday.But I can't.

Why?

Because I ran out of space.

After deleting all demos, movies, music I noticed it still wasn't enough.

I have 40GB Ps3, and I have what Dmc4, Mgs4,Res5,Far cry2 and other istallation that are required to play the games, and just think of those who dl Psn games, music, movies etc to their hardware...Well you could buy more hardware space but not many know how.

So I would need to delete these to play Home, but I don't want.

And seems I must delete something when I buy next game that needs installation.

This is exactly why I only play multiplats on the 360 and their exclusives and only play exclusives on the PS3. There always seems to be a problem with installations filling up the hard drive. I have a 20 GB hard drive on the 360 and it still hasn't filled up yet. I have over 20 games in the system. I hate installs. I have an 80 GB hard drive on the PS3 and fear to fill it up half way. This is why I am buying a 500 GB external hard drive for this god forsaken thing.

I prefer the Xbox 360 way, its as easy as 1. 2. 3.

1. Buy new HDD.
2. Use HDD transfer cable.
3. Sell old HDD.

I don't think anything which generally requires someone to access an online instruction manual is good for the general public.
