I didn't even think jjseth went that insane...I thought he was deemed worthy of a temporary ban, and that'd he be allowed back sooner than later. I guess some people just crack.

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

Lol, thanks Ben. Hus is just going crazy these days.

I'm pretty sure that's actually jjseth. He made a name yesterday called "jjseth rocks" and started posting the same basic stuff..

On topic, congratulations on your new system! If you ever need any advice on what games to get that are out just ask. I hope you enjoy it. You will probably want either a GC or Classic controller for VC games, since those two controllers can play all VC games.

Just to simplify a bunch of what's been said on here, the nunchuck has your control stick on it, so if want a control stick, you need your nunchuck. Frankly, I think it would have been cool to have both the nunchuck and remote not connected to each other.

PS I just thought of something cool you could put in Manhunt 2....

Secret Item......Wii remote and nunchuck.....lol they could actually move exactly how you move them, and you could strangle people with the cord.

I'll be buying a Wii in the next few months, and after reading this topic I'm even more confused on whether I should buy a second nunchuk or not... I'll surely be playing some games with my girlfriend so I think I will.

NJ5 if you ever plan on playing games with other people (which will mostly be Wii Sports, at least in my experience) you definitely want the second nunchuk. Wii boxing is my favorite and you need the nunchuks for it.

Apostrovich - Don't give them ideas! Then Jack Thompson will move to ban the Wii!

Yes, you will most likely want a nunchuk for every Wiimote you have.  That less confusing?

Short answer: Buy a nunchuck for every Wiimote you own. There.

They cost $20, which isn't that bad. There are a number of games you can play without a nunchuck, but you're unnecessarily cutting down your game selection like that.

I see people talking about SSBB and the nunchuck. SSBB will support just about every controller configuration the Wii offers, but wiimote+nunchuck is possibly the worst. The chief designer prefers using a Gamecube controller. I think I'll prefer the classic controller, myself. Wiimote without nunchuck is also a supported control method.

Explain how the Wiimote + nunchuck is bad for SSBB.

The Wiimote alone is the worst option in my opinion.

With the Wiimote + nunchuck, you have a fully working analog stick in your left hand...that does half the work in Smash Bros. You have an A and B button, that deals with standard and special moves. The only moves left are shield, jump, and grab, which could use Z, C, and D-down or something. What's so bad about that configuration?

Personal opinion, really. Maybe I'm just set in my ways, but while Wiimote+nunchuck is great for FPS and adventure games, I prefer a more traditional gamepad-type controller for fighting games which operate in an effectively 2d space. The triggers just don't seem right when I'm cracking heads.

Of course I haven't tried it yet, either, which is why my language was deliberately vague.
