Forums - Sales - Capcom Q1 data - million sellers + WW sales expectations

RE4 sold good on it cause people wanted a good version with all the content instead of the PS2 one. I'd buy the game for a third time if I had a Wii.

Keep in mind Monster Hunter Freedom Unite numbers don't include THE BEST version which has sold more than 800,000 copies in Japan.

It's also worth noting that Capcom praised Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth (DS) and Sengoku Basara Battle Heroes (PSP) for their favourable performance.

Wow.. they are doing fantastic

Do you guys know that the PS2 version of RE4 is outselling the Wii one?

Nice to see positive news about a games company, though before long I expect someone somewhere will put a negative spin on it =P

Good for Capcom. I hope Monster Hunter 3 is a success in the West, and that's it a good game. I look forward to trying it next year.

As long as the game is still selling, does it really matter which one is selling more?

Plus, its unfair to compare anything to the PS2. Dont be evil like that.

That's good news for Capcom. I think its unfair Wii owners can't get Resident Evil 5.

Of course! The Wii version is a remake.... RE4 has versions for ps2 and GC (in other words, it's an old game) but it sold 1,5M+ on the Wii, aren't you satisfied yet?

Wait, the PS2 version of RE4 is outselling the Wii version?

Where'd you read that?

So do none of the numbers include Greatest Hits, Best, Platinum, etc releases?
