Forums - Sony - Why people still calling Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 PS3 exclusive?

Let them call it that way. It's not like it changes the facts or anything.

Exactly, calling Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 a PS3 exclusive doesnt change the fact that its a PS3 exclusive.

Eh, its like Bioshock PS3 and Eternal Sonata. Technically though, you could argue its exclusive because of the name.

Aren't both those games identical to the 360 version?  The extra tonics on the PS3 Bioshock the 360 got as a patch before the PS3 version was even released.   DLC is a different matter entirely.

They both got patches? o_O Where was I for this? I'll boot up Bioshock now! Holy crap new plasmids, survivor mode here I come!

"DLC is a different matter entirely."

The new plasmids:

Sonic Boom: Pushes enemies away from you with a powerful force-blast. It's mostly defensive, but it can be used to toss items (such as boxes or bodies) as well as live enemies.

EVE Saver: Lessens the use of EVE by all your plasmids.

Vending Expert: Reduces prices in all vending machines--great for gift shoppers!

Machine Buster: A scrutinized damage increase that only affects machines (Bots, turrets, and cameras) but not organic creatures.

price: 80 GS.

Edit:  Strange I checked it with an other account and it says free.

they were free by the time i played it on the 360. was just a patch. so both bioshock games were the same.

sigma on the other hand is giving you 3 new characters, online co-op mission mode, completly new levels and new enimies. This amount of content aint gunna be done with a patch on the original game.

I played the ninja gaiden 2 on the 360 last year and like others i hated it due to crappy camera getting me killed one to many times. it wasn't a horrible game but after playing the first sigma game you would of thought they would of had increased the level of polish on 2 rather than decline.

Im hoping that when i get my hands on sigma 2 thoes same problems i had will be gone and i can finish the game this time.

The 360 version didn't have Sonic Boom at launch? Holy hell, that's the plasmid I used MOST! By the time it was at level 2, you could kill almost any splicer by Sonic Booming them against a wall. It was kind of gamebreaking, actually.

Well erm it simple really

Ninja gaiden 2 for the 360 is only a demo. Ninja gaiden Sigma 2 is the full game.

A bit like GT5: Prologue VS. GT5

That's dumb logic....GT5 Prologue was one track and couple of cars. NG2 was entire levels and storyline...Sigma is just additional content. That's it...

That's like saying GTA4 is a demo and GTA4 with the DLC eps. is the full game....

Erm no because you have to pay extra for that DLC.

Ninja gaiden 2: Prologue is still a good game but nothing compared to the full game.

And GT5:Prologue has many tracks and many cars. More then some full retail gams.

Ninja gaiden sigma 2 has

extra games modes. Better graphics. Extra characters. Extra levels (added story line).

How can it not be a exclusive with all of that? Like i said Ninja gaiden 2 is a demo compared to NGS2

By that logic ToV should be an 'exclusive' to the PS3 too because its an enhanced edition with lots of extra content but people aren't calling it that because its still called ToV.

Sigma 2 is just a late 360 port with lots of enhancement, the only reason people are calling it an exclusive is because Tecmo is calling it an exclusive.

this would be correct if the 360 versions can do everything that the ps3 versions can do.... but it cant...

on the flip side there is nuthin you can do in the 360 version that cant be done in the ps3 version so the logic is flawed.

But i do not think its an exclusive im just saying how i can see it being called that.

I agree. GTA4 DLC isn'tclusve either.

That's a sight problem because it can brought seperate from the original game...complete different storylines and have a play time in comparsion to some 60 dollar shooter games....so it can be count as exclusive. the Gameplay time is what to me make it a compeltely different game.

OT: Can a play the game for the 360? Yes, Can i play the new levels and characters for the 360? No.  It's like if MGS4 add 3 new levels and made Raiden playable for the 360...it wouldn't still be exclusive, be they get exclusive levels.

So PS3 fanboys.....quick question.... since the Joker is a playable character in Batman : Arkaham Asylum...is the ps3 version an exclusive then...even though 360 fanboys can play all the Batman levels?

then L4D, mass effect, Geow, etc and most other xbox games are not exclusive either... since i can play them on a PC.
