Forums - Nintendo - Nintendo: Games shown at E3 aren't confirmed for NA.

Attack wasn't the appropriate word, Soriku is more like a stalker. Always there to disagree with me, but it's cool. Claude is like a tree, one I learnt to ignore.

I see you didn't listen to the whole interview where the guy simply answered things that weren't asked to skip the answer, and shouldn't you be concerned about Monado being in danger of getting localized? Come on, for once agree with me.

Bets with Conegamer:

Pandora's Tower will have an opening week of less than 37k in Japan. (Won!)
Pandora's Tower will sell less than 100k lifetime in Japan.
Stakes: 1 week of avatar control for each one.

Maybe Soriku disagrees with you because he's actually firmly planted in reality. It's a thought considering that your entire existence here is based on paranoia and hyperbole. Nintendo is doomed! Nintendo is out to get me! Soriku stop stalking me!!!! You've been banned for concern trolling before and yet you just don't learn. Even when proven wrong you just move on to the next subject and troll there.

You're starting to slip up now because you're reaching where there is no where to reach. Is it possible some of the games at E3 won't leave Japan? Sure, but do we need panic threads based off of a canned response? Absolutely not. Even if those games don't come here, there's absolutely zero reason for outrage now because it hasn't been confirmed one way or the other.

They also had Monando on the US Nintendo channel.

Everyone would prefer a more straightforward answer but this in Nintendo.

OT: Is it just me or am I one of the people who don't see Trestres as "trolling" but more of a Nintendo fan who is sick of only settling with what they feel like giving him and wants to know more of what is on the horizon instead of always playing the waiting game?

He is one of those people who expects more instead of settling. Nothing wrong with that. I think he comes off quite honest. Maybe it's just me.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

Well, unless there is an official confirmation for a release what can they (the PR people) say? Still, they're much better than politicians, atleast the Swedish ones...
About the interview, it's very good (not!) to do the interview with one billion people everywhere. I watched 30 seconds of the video until I had enough and just read it. Maybe I have hearing problems or there was way to much noise to hear what they said. And why end with asking about Another Code when he could've asked about Fatal Frame? Atleast Another Code is released in the west.

And I haven't heard of Span Smasher, I had to google it! I wonder if there is anything else I've missed...

I can see this not coming over. What I don't understand is where these lower budget, niche offerings fit into Nintendo's strategy. Why put your name behind these offerings that are going to sell a few thousand in a specific region and then not release them elsewhere? These titles don't have the potential to be huge evergreen titles, a lot of them are reviewed mediocre and have similiar word of mouth. I just don't get putting development dollars behind them when each team could have instead attempted to make "Games for Everyone" which I thought was Nintendo's strategy to begin with. If I'm not mistaken, aren't these hugely niche, upstream titles supposed to be the final step after the various stages of upstreaming the gaming audience has been met?

This is the way Nintendo always talks.

Is it really that bad to keep surprises?

Nintendo is the best videogames company ever!

Surprises like Disaster, Another Code, Fatal Frame, Tact of Magic, Captain Rainbow, etc?

Sorry to be argumentative (well not really, I do it all the time) but anyone who really expected Captain Rainbow to make it overseas either has next to no historical reference for what kind of games do and don't make it over here or was just looking for something to complain about.

I don't know about the rest though.
