Forums - Sony - Ninja Gaiden Sigma II release detailed for Europe

http://computerandvideogames.com/article.php?id=220276

"Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 will hit the shops in North America on September 29 and the UK on October 2, Temco Koei has confirmed. There's another one for Christmas then.

A Europe release date has been pinned down on October 2. The game's out in Japan on October 1 and the US on September 29. The game's also been rated 16 by new kids on the block PEGI, which means gamers down under will be able to play along with the rest of us. Shame all the blood and guts have gone though if you ask us.

A demo is also planned for release on the PlayStation Network in September, Tecmo previously said."

Awesome, though I'm suprised of the rating. Despite the lack of blood (compared to NGII anyway), the game still looks pretty brutal IMO.

I still have to make up my mind over whether or not I should play NG Sigma first though...

Absolutely. Find it cheap, because it'll be way cheaper than Sigma II new. Because Ninja Gaiden is not for everybody, and you need to know if it's for you. So, play Sigma first, but not for the reasons you might think, and if you find yourself unable to so much as finish the game, it's so annoyingly punishingly difficult, then give Sigma II a miss.
