I doubt that's the real reason, honestly, I think they're just running out of games they feel are worth putting on the Virtual Console ... But yeah, whatever.

No wonder games doesn't sell much on VC consdering the games that are released are mostly crap nobody wants. Focus on the Nintendo and Sega-consoles and maybe the games will sell.
