Dont bash something until you have experienced it..

There is a huge difference between the wii and a 360, and you have no idea what you are missing out on.. same with a load of wii only gamers.

Trust me what you are paying for on XBL is really worth paying for..

To me it also is. But it doesn't change the fact that it would be nice if it were free, like on ps3. I don't even know what the wii has... I haven't turned mine on since december. And I don't own any online games fer et. :-/

Although me complaining is really hypocritical, since I would just buy gold anyway again because I love playing online every once and again.

see that's exactly my point these companies know the gamer's pretty well...the gamer's have been enticed by the game's and it show's what are the gamer's willing to shell out...their market reasearch show's gamer's are very willing to shell out $60.00+per game not just for the game's only, add in movies, other content its a very large market for a reason..that is one of the Problem's its getting to the point that $60.00+ point has become the standard..and its prob. not going away anytime soon because GAMER's seem to be happy with the price point.

when i was growing up..70's if my dad heard i would wanted a game that was even $20.00 he said it was too much, yea even if i worked for the money myself he still would complain about the price. Today it seem's that parent's reluctant also to say "NO"/just my Opinion and i fully support gameing but it's just my OPINION of the game industry as a whole, i cannot blame the companies though , hell i would do that also from personal experience with some development myself, the Industry is following pretty much how any company would go,,,"give them an inch they would take a mile ..if you let them"

$20.00 was worth so much more in the 70's. I mean the average movie ticket in 1978 was $2.34.

In the 70's weren't games like 100$ each though?

I think the 60$ is pretty justified. High dev costs, and even higher risks if the game will even do well at all. That 10$ over other console games means the game had a high budget, thus it must also be of quality. There are some stinkers either way though.

And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... And this Xbox 360. - The PS4, the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360, and that's all I need... And these PS3's. - The PS4, and these PS3's, and the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360... And this Nintendo DS. - The PS4, this Xbox 360, and the Gaming PC, and the PS3's, and that's all *I* need. And that's *all* I need too. I don't need one other thing, not one... I need this. - The Gaming PC and PS4, and Xbox 360, and thePS3's . Well what are you looking at? What do you think I'm some kind of a jerk or something! - And this. That's all I need.

Obligatory dick measuring Gaming Laptop Specs: Sager NP8270-GTX: 17.3" FULL HD (1920X1080) LED Matte LC, nVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M, Intel Core i7-4700MQ, 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3, 750GB SATA II 3GB/s 7,200 RPM Hard Drive

Another "interesting article", huh?

This is typical of haters, they'll swallow anything. They keep searching through all these random blogs until they find a fanboy rant to use in their propaganda.

Ive had my PS3 for over a year and im getting my moneys worth. I think next gen Microsoft will start charging Halo for online, like they do for World of Warcraft, and it will become a trend. Next will be the CoD series ect.

We are already going in that direction with Madden 10 needing a unique code to play online, so you cant buy used games if you want the most out of it.

I actually didn't know that live has ads on it. If that's true then i'm beginning to see this guy's point.
I think the PSN can support itself and it doesn't have much ads if any at all.

I regret getting Killz2. It was $69.99 at most places, but I got mine for $59.99. It was fun and all, but within a month and abit there was already a new map pack out! After about 2-3 months there was another Mappack! And now theres another one ...

There should be rules that there cant be any downloadable content until AFTER 6 months of the games release. GG obviosly had there mappacks planned out but decided to sell them on PSn instead of with the game.

The best most WORTH IT game was BF: Bad Company. That game got tons of mappacks, games modes, trophies all for FREE. Im glad I paid the $59.99 for that game.

Some games are just getting ridiculous. Look at Skate 2, you can pay 7.99 from PSN or XBL to get this pack that automatically beats the game. WTF?! Thats stupid

just another Microsoft hater....

I'll admit that easy.  I can't stand Microsoft at all.  But it's definitely not any console hating happening.  I would take it then that you agree with Microsoft every bit that the console and manufacturing are perfect, the online is fully worth it, and they have done everything to improve the quality of gaming for everyone?  That's a tall order but if you do believe that then I won't fault that.  It's opinions.  But there is no bashing on my part to one console.  I'm more about the business practices going on behind it all.

I was actually referring to the author of that article...

If MS is ruining gaming then why the hell am I having so much damn fun?!?

If people hate the Xbox so much, just play the PS3 or Wii, and don't worry about what others want to play.
