Well played JaggedSac, well played.

As for the above titles, isn't it a possibility we'll see DLC for the additions eventually?

This was Sony's tactic to combat timed exclusives. As I understand it, in most cases if something is timed for 360 then to appear on PS3 is has to have new stuff.

The logic, I presume, is to balance getting something first vs getting more if you wait. It also implies that the early 360 version may end up the inferior version.

I suppose after another wait some stuff might swing back to 360 again but I would expect that to be on a title by title basis.

Personally I think timed exclusives are a bad idea - full on exclusives, sure, such as Halo, Killzone, etc. - but timed exclusives in no way are good from a consumer viewpoint.

Well I'm sure that this is not Sony's idea, because it's the same with later appearing PC ports (Gears of War, Street Fighter 4, Resident Evil 5 ASO)

I agree it's a bad idea and they should focus in making a new (and this time multiplat) game rather than porting the old one with a few extras.

Another thing is that those "extras" are often times not even worth 5 bucks....

Hey gamer

Ninja Gaiden 2 Sigma: 1. Oktober = Ps3 incl. Coop-Modus, more caracters ...

Tales of Vesperia: PS3 - better version incl. new fightcharakter, dungeons, special features alias t.l.c. - 17. September (Japan)

Why come this for ps3 =( ? I'm 360 fanboy...but...i need this 2 games!

Metal Gear Solid 4 and Blu-Ray are interesting, but i will 1 console...not 2.

Then...i buy on end of the year a PlayStation 3. This console is 2009/2010 better =( and i can't wait.

NG2 Sigma is better. It's awesome. But it's exclusives for ps3 ever@Ninja Gaiden Fans

Because the xbox 360 lacks the disk space it needs to include all the extra content in one disk. Ninja gaiden sigma 2 will have online co-op, three new playable characters and bigger bosses not seen in the original game. Tales of vesperia will have voice overs not available in the original game and more.

Other than those factors, games either don't sell well on the xbox 360 because they don't appeal to xbox 360 owners (usually rpgs).

NG2 sold around 1m copies on 360. I don't think NG2S will sell more.

Look at Bioshock. They add extra content for PS3 version. Did it sell more? 2.23m vs 0.43m

Yeah tell that too fable 2 which sold over a million and topped NPD charts in the month of october, Tell that to mass effect which sold over a million

Tell that to Lost odyssey which is the Top selling JRPG on ny HD console right now,Stop generalizing man.

Lost Odyssey cannot be considered a JRPG. I believe Marco was talking about JRPGs not WRPGS, which sucks by the way IMHO.

i would probably be MS's fault for wanting it to be timed exclusive

ToV PS3 definately looks to have more content then ToV 360. However, I cannot agree that NGS2 looks to be better then the 360 version.

GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.
