No, that is just absurd. If I made a controversial statement, like "Haze was so much better than Halo!" without trolling, and in a completely harmless manner, my post would be hidden.

Even worse, if I went to Sony Discussion, and posted "I prefer Forza to GT and here is why *reasons*" my post would get hidden. There's a reason Naznatips has a screening process for moderators. And the moderators do a damned good job and don't really need our help.

It wouldnt work out well here (IMO). I feel that the VG Chartz community as a whole is generally one of the best if not the best of any gaming site, however, there would still be issues with implementing that type of system.

Don't worry, once we defeat Microsoft, we can absorb their citizens, becoming the sole HD nation, and focus our attack on Nintendo, who have grown lax with their First Party Development. Our First Party Development has grown, and are creating ever more games to use in the war. If we can win a decisive battle early on, we can get the independent Third Parties on our sides. However, siding with Microsoft will only allow them to retain and strengthen their ties with the independents developers, while they benefit from Nintendo's demise.

I like the idea, but I propose another stipulation. Everyone that plusses or minuses a post gets logged. If I see an extremely trollish post get pluses, I get to ban everyone that gave it the plusses, and if a topic that isn't breaking the rules gets minused into invisibility, I get to ban everyone that did it too. Holy crap, I'd have a damn banning field day!
