Great to hear that it's coming soon. Definitely one of the best efforts third parties have ever made on the Wii.

no that title belongs to capcom, monster hunter 3 looks amazing.

Well as you can tell from the part you bolded.. he did say "one of the best"...

Which I think we can all agree on.

i hope the final boss is as perfect as mio-raem(memiroa) from the crystal chronicles, that boss had the best polygons any gamecube boss has had and the stage was magnificent.

Has anyone gotten the new Nintendo Power yet? The cover of it is on Crystal Bearers and I believe it has some new scans although not too much new information. Still, its interesting to read..

I think there is a pretty difference in the effort between the two titles. Main Final Fantasy games have always had huge budgets and taken forever. The localization will also take a lot longer.

It used to not take this long until their FF12 localization BS. Then again for all I know, the grasslands will still be flat though, I'm going to hate that part so much if that's going to be in the final version sigh....

Well, none of the Final Fantasy games have ever had such an excellent localization. The earlier FFs also did not have voice acting so that contributes to the length.

whaa? of course they did. Final Fantasy X and X-2 had VA and were better games to make things hilarious. Localization is what i would call laziness on the devs part. My family runs a translator company and a good translation of a game like final fantasy from any language to english would take no more that one week with a team of 3 translators working them 10 hour work shifts.

Of course you have to implement this into the localized version but with modern pc's and programs it should be a cinch to do.

If i lose access to this profile as well....I'm done with this site.....You've been warned!!.....whoever you are...

Happy Wii60 user. Me and my family are a perfect example of where hardcore meets casual and together mutate into something awesome.

The localization in the E3 build was suprisingly far along, they already had the full English voice-acting recorded for those segments.

I think it's supposed to be getting a worldwide release, Yoichi Wada said that they wanted to do more WW releases and I guess TCB will be their next one. It's already rated in Europe.

As much as I'm looking forward to it this year, I just hope I have the money to buy it.

Localization takes a lot more than just translating text.

And the level of quality (and quantity) in the voice acting of 12 versus X and X-2 is enourmous.

I'm pretty sure that this game will get a WW release, especially since all FF:CC games so far have come to Europe. I'm also pretty sure though that it won't reach Europe this year, but rather in the first quarter 2010 cause it just won't be enough time to do the complete localisation.
