My family runs a translator company and a good translation of a game like final fantasy from any language to english would take no more that one week with a team of 3 translators working them 10 hour work shifts. Of course you have to implement this into the localized version but with modern pc's and programs it should be a cinch to do. |
Localization takes a lot more than just translating text.
And the level of quality (and quantity) in the voice acting of 12 versus X and X-2 is enourmous.
