This seems to insinuate, at least to me, that there may be an XBLA/PSN port of the original Unreal Tournament sometime in the future. I mean everyone else has done it. Wolfenstein 3D, Doom, Duke Nukem 3D, Marathon: Durandel, the just released Battlefield 1943, and the future release of Perfect Dark. There's a huge market for these games on the consoles' downloadable services. Slap a pretty $10 price tag on that sucker and I guarantee they have a winner on their hands.

It's sad to hear about this hiatus though, because I really loved Unreal Tournament 3.

Ya I agree, it wasn't as good most of the other games of the franchise but it was better then Unreal Tournament 2003.

I'll eventually get to reviewing it. I started but a review copy of a game dropped into my hand so that takes priority.

I expect UT Next by the time UE4 is released.

I still think that the original Unreal Tournament is the best online FPS of all time.

I don't want a new UT per se, I just want 2004 with UT3 graphics.

I didn't enjoyed the new one as the first one. After a couple of days I had enough with UT3. It is sad but I don't like UT anymore that much.

unreal tournament and 2k4 were amazing online. I never got around to playing the latest version though.
