I don't like how large they were, making them too difficult to shelve/ transport. I hope next gen we can go to flash based media because even 16GB memory sticks are insanely cheap these days compared to their price just a couple years ago.
tedteriscool flash based media doesn't make sense for games. Why would you need to write over a game cartridge?
Read-only media should be much cheaper, that's what the DS uses (as well as a small amount of writable memory on each cart for save games).

OP: Yes I do! DS games are perfect, never had one fail or anything. CD's are another story...

If you meant why I miss cartridges? It's because they are virtually indestructible.

maybe the cartridges of old, but you can't argue that DS carts are harder to carry than CD, DVD, or Blu-ray discs.
