The compliment was genuine. I didn't mean for it to be sarcastic, really

I just update the reviews using the links on Gamerankings, and they don't link to the magazines, so I assume they don't have sites.

how about we run a special deal. I pay you VG$14.50 for each review you submit, and you pay me VG$2000 to enable the special deal each month. Sounds like a brilliant plan to me. I'll get set it in action now




If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

Another thought that may be worth implementing.

Currently, when you click reviews it shows both the VGChartz and User reviews on the same page. It doesn't show the "critics" reviews. It would be nice if it shows VGChartz, Critics, and then Users. I only list it that way because it is short, but it could also be put at the end because User reviews may be considered more important.

Nah it's Devil Survivor for the DS, the problem I have going for me is my top guy is 60 and every enemy is that or higher...meh I'll just do some extreme training..

I've already filled in most of The Conduit (and earned me some $$!) so you can take a peek there to see the functionality in action...

 

This is a terrific idea for a feature! Such a strict list of only 15 approved sites will guarantee the quality of the overall score, making it much more reliable and trustworthy than Metacritic and Gamerankings.

And good choice of approved sites so far... just don't fall for the temptation of adding many more sites as time goes by, because not only will it dilute the quality but it will take a lot of resources to update into a proper average score.

I really like that both Edge and Eurogamer are there, giving the overall score much more weight and authority since instead of being only 2 sites out of ~100 (on GR/Meta), their proportion actually has some significance when being 2 out of 15!

Yes, they are controversial but I think most.. what should I say not to offend anyone.. most 'sophisticated' gamers acknowledge those two sites as very serious and proffessional in general, and most importantly they're having a lot of integrity.

EDIT:

You got a chance of a lifetime, plz staff, don't blow this superb idea (by diluting the list). If you pull it off by enough people helping to update the 15-score, this will be the super score everyone will refer to (at least on this site lol) when arguing and claiming quality level of a game. Plus it's extremely valuable for my personal use when predicting and stat analyzing games in relation to the sales data in the data base.
