We've added the ability to submit reviews from outside sources to the database. These submissions will be approved by the DBAdmin team and be averaged out (taking into consideration that not all sites have a 1-10 scale such as ours, some scores are corrected to a valid 1-10 score) to give a good sense of what other sites are saying about games. To access this functionality:

1) On the game page, you will notice the 'user review' area now as a tabbed feature.

2) Click the 'critics' tab to see the average score given out by outside sources.

3) There is a link in this area to 'add reviews' to the database

4) The following 15 sites have been 'approved' by VGChartz for submissions (we may add more in the future):

1up
CheatCodeCentral
Edge
Eurogamer
GameDaily
Gameplanet
Gamepro
Game Master UK
Gamespot
Gamespy
Gametrailers
GiantBomb
IGN
VideoGamer

5) For non-print magazine reviews, you must submit an accurate URL to the review in order to be accepted

6) Click the average review score to see the listing of reviews that have been added.

I've already filled in most of The Conduit (and earned me some $$!) so you can take a peek there to see the functionality in action...

This is a terrific idea for a feature! Such a strict list of only 15 approved sites will guarantee the quality of the overall score, making it much more reliable and trustworthy than Metacritic and Gamerankings.

And good choice of approved sites so far... just don't fall for the temptation of adding many more sites as time goes by, because not only will it dilute the quality but it will take a lot of resources to update into a proper average score.
