Forums - Sony - The PS3 browser

So, a few days ago my laptop charger died, and I wont be getting a replacement for a day or two so Ive been spending alot of time on my PS3 browser. I understand that it's a very handy little tool on the Playstation, but it's nothing compared to a real PC browser and I have a few questions to ask about it. Why is it when you quote someone on the PS3 browser, it centres the quotes....and can this be fixed? Also why are there spacing issues and can they be fixed? (For example I have written a few PM's in the last few days and I have layed them out nicely, but as soon as I hit 'send' the message just forms a wall of text). Thanks for any help and what do you all think of the PS3 browser?

I think its something to do with Javascript.

Not 100% sure though.

Its been a handy back up for me, and I do enjoy it for browsing youtube, i tried using it with a keyboard and mouse the other day, works really well, not sure how to fix your problem though sorry

So Im guessing the only way for it to get fixed would be through a PSN update. I miss my laptop ;(

Yeah I have the same problems when I'm on VGChartz with my PS3.
It's also slow as hell most of the time....

Around the Network

I only use it for watching flash. Though now Hulu doesn't work with it and I'm back to connecting the pc to the tv.

@ Barozi - Yep, certainly slow compared to PC browsers -_-

it's decent. takes some time to get used to (like any new browser does) but it's not bad

i love the ps3 browser i never go on my computer anymore it takes awhile to booth up... if the ps3 didn't have a browser i wouldn't be posting on forums at all

^ For long internet sessions, I'd recommend 'booting up.'
