Forums - Sales - Japan hardware sales : new low for the 360. Is the 360 dead in Japan ?

This is the way the discussion went...

Aion - MC2 will give a big boost to 360 so these sales don't matter.

Me - What makes you think that? There is nothing to suggest that. Here are examples.

Lord - BUT BUT BUT!!!! IT'S PLAUSIBLE!

Me - What? Okay... yeah I guess it's plausible but it isn't logical.

Lord - You are a moron and dont know what you are talking about!

Me - ....uh ok...

Hahaha.

You've put yourself as reasonable in that and me as hysterical.

Is that really how you've seen it? (I never used the word plausible first. you did)
That explains a lot.

I gave you a possible reason as to why it could and an opposing view which you couldn't handle.

Yup, you've been pretty ridiculous in this thread from the get go.

You've cheered me up today.

And you gave no such reasoning.

Don't give me overly niche JRPG's with bad prequels as an example of a JRPG that'll boost something.

It'll be so small that it won't be even noticeable among normal sales trends... I suggest you use logic, instead of putting fanboy glasses on me or whatever.

Exactly how many sales need to be made for a RPG to be considered niche? I don't think you have any idea what MC sold on the PS2.

What are the numbers? VGC doesn't have any, I presume that's a bad sign, and the PSP version only sold 30k.

Yeah, I got my jollies for the day too. I mean... to actually think MC2 will do something significant for the 360 is pretty great.

I'm not surprised it went over your head.

"Given how many the 360 has sold compared to what the market is it has the most room to grow out of all the consoles so yes. People who are interested in MC2 could very likely not have a 360 and missed those other games.

They might not be interested in TOV or SO4 and this might be what perks their interest in the console."

Hows that. A reason to back up my point.

Where was the BUT BUT BUT PLAUSIBLE? Again fail for you.

There is no reasoning in that post.

It sold over 175,000 units.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

Ah another classic from you.
