"We’re not abandoning HS just on a whim because we want to go off and do something different - there’s a great huge raft of reasons behind us taking the direction we are - and it’s also the nature of the business that I’m not allowed to share any of those reasons with you
As for the ‘you’re just not doing HS2 NOW’ comments - well one thing you learn in this industry is that you never say ‘Never’. So I’m not going to say we’ll “never” go back and make HS2 - but it’s something I personally see as extremely unlikely"
Before it was even supposidly cancelled... lol

Nevertheless it's probably safe to say we won't be seeing much more of HS. If anything I could see it going to PSP.

There goes Squil again, stirring up the fanboys with his . . . truthiness . . .

silly little trolls... I don't think this game didn't get a sequel because of sales.
I would love to see a sequel.....one of the best games i played.

"The official story: Unsurprisingly, Sony Europe was less than receptive to inquiries. "I think it is fair to say that we do not comment on rumour and speculation, especially about games that have never been announced," a SCEE representative told Kotaku. "We are still dedicated to our first-party studios and are very excited about the fantastic exclusive titles coming this year."
the game was never announced
2007:-- Release Period for Heavenly Sword, one of the most well reknowned games this Generation.

LOL, what a joke. According to who?
Also, the word is spelled "renowned" not "reknowned"...
We don't provide the 'easy to program for' console that they [developers] want, because 'easy to program for' means that anybody will be able to take advantage of pretty much what the hardware can do, so the question is what do you do for the rest of the nine and half years? It's a learning process. - SCEI president Kaz Hirai
It's a virus where you buy it and you play it with your friends and they're like, "Oh my God that's so cool, I'm gonna go buy it." So you stop playing it after two months, but they buy it and they stop playing it after two months but they've showed it to someone else who then go out and buy it and so on. Everyone I know bought one and nobody turns it on. - Epic Games president Mike Capps
We have a real culture of thrift. The goal that I had in bringing a lot of the packaged goods folks into Activision about 10 years ago was to take all the fun out of making video games. - Activision CEO Bobby Kotick

Technical limitations of the xbox 360.
It's interesting how some people like to delude themselves that both systems are equal in power, graphics and capabilities. Despite developers praising the playstation 3 as the superior console.
