This is like someone claiming that PES will sell better on X360 because Microsoft payed for professional tournaments to use X360 as the console of choice and advertising exclusivity. It won't change that PS3 is the much stronger brand in Europe where soccer is incredibly popular

Actually EA announced that the main platform for all sports games is the PS3 a while ago. This came straight from Peter Moore himself.

OT: This is one game that will sell to the masses regardless of bundling. But just think about this. The game sells best in the U.S., hands down. It has hella huge opening numbers year after year. Folks are really going to pay $399 and $59 - plus tax - and an extra controller - $59 - to play Madden? Ok ... and they can play Madden on a 360 for $199 - for an Arcade with the mem card, $39 for LIVE card - and $50 for an extra controller. No, I think software will fly off the shelves, but hardware won't make a bit of difference. The only real thing that will move PS3 beside a crackhead hijacking a delivery truck full of them is a pricecut.

Not at all. It's part of a deal Sony has going with EA Sports where they are advertising their games for them. Haven't seen any TV lately?

i thought it was only an xbox thing because there was MLG Call of Duty 4 for xbox but not ps3, personally i think the whole MLG thing is stupid.
