They could at least put it with a better game, Madden 09 was disappointing to me, hopefully this one will be better.

The highest sales Madden Achieved was like 6M in recent history. Last year they had 4.8M sales, so really there isn't much to gain from a Madden bundle this late in the game is there?

It won't. The whole point of the upcoming PS3 is to shave as much as possible off of its manufacturing cost so that Sony can issue a price drop. Unless you heavily value having a matte finish, push buttons, smaller frame, less power consuming console with the possibly of a bigger hard drive, there is quite likely gonna be absolutely no advantage to having a slim PS3 over the current 80GB unit.

That said, along with all my above the ability to run OSs such as linux is rumored to have been removed along with the power switch on the back. However, these two rumors have been stated by one person whereas the others have been by many so take it for what it's worth.

3rd party bundles aren't un heard of. Bundles after a game release isnt un heard of either.... I bet EA would be glad to bundle their game with the Ps3.

Well it is only a few weeks away, so if they are going to replace it with the slim, we should see stock drying up shortly
