Vaio, why do you expect people to reconsider buying madworld when there obviously isnt a big interest in FPS on the Wii. This was shown by The Conduit.
Face the fact.

Doesnt change the fact that you are trolling, this is not about the conduit but your comment are only about the conduit.
Haven´t played the conduit so I don´t comment on it unlike you.
Madworld is not that good of a game to warrant a full price or good sales, it´s a hell of a cool game the first time you go through it but adds nothing after the first play through.

Look there is no point trying to convince people. They are going to pull any excuse they can to delay buying a Wii game until the price drops.
Its fine. Eventually all those kids who love the Wii are going to grow up and take over the market PS360 has today. Albeit a small and insignificant market in the scheme of things.
“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

Wait, do you think MadWorld is a FPS? It has no guns, and is third person. I really don't know how to respond to this. This is quite possibly the worst defense of a trolling post I have ever seen.
Sorry my mistake, i thought it was a FPS
I have played the Conduit and i thought it was good, i was just wondering why people would choose this (what i thought was a FPS) over it.

Pixel Art can be fun.

Fair enough then. Would you mind editing your first post to reflect this confusion? People are going to continue to jump on it rather than discussing something relevant is the reason I ask.
More on topic: The game was way too short for me to buy it. I really am confused as to why Sega seems disapointed with the sales. It seems about spot on with what I would expect the game to sell after playing it. The game screams niche with every ounce of its body. The graphics were obviously done to promote art style over anything else. The level of violence was extreme in a wacky way that really only appeals to a few. An the game was amazingly short. You could tear through in under 5 hours for a first play through, and hard mode really isn't that much more interesting. Double the length and add some tangible bonuses for replaying levels and then we can talk about buying it rather than renting.
madworld with its black and white artstyle and over the top violence is a niche product and anyone who expected it to sell better than a niche game can was illusional.
i rented the game and it wasnt my kind of thing, thats why i dident buy it, the conduit on the other hand i baught and i enjoy it.
