You know guys, most of these questions have been answered already. I'll answer a few. Yes Halo: ODST will run faster when installed to the hardrive! Not the second disc though which includes all the Halo 3 maps + the 3 new ones and the Halo 3 multiplayer mode.

ODST will have two multiplayer modes. CO-OP campaign and Firefight which is the Halo equivilant of Gears of War 2's horde mode but alot better and never ends (untill all team lives are spent) It will include its own firefight maps and the Covenant will be using vehicles also. The campaign is supposed to be about 4-5 hours if you just rush through it doing nothing else but remember Halo 3 ODST's campaign map is free roaming so you can explore etc.

And Bungie said they will remain exclusive to the Xbox 360 after the split with Microsoft. Mainly for the fans.

They said some stuff like that, but that was back when it was supposed to retail for $40.  Since they've upped the price they'd better have increased the content as well.

Some questions:

• The gameplay at E3 looked "darker" than the previous Halo games, is the whole atmosphere a little bit darker or was it just that one scene?
• What do they think will be their hardest competition this holiday season? (Probably MW2) Do they see it as a problem to have two highly anticipated FPS coming out at the same time?
• Since Bungie is independent now, what has changed for them? I mean, they are still working on Halo with ODST / Reach and DLCs on the way. How is their relationship with MS now?
• How long did they work on ODST? It is true, that this was just a small team working on it?
• New weapons - how many? New vehicles - how many?
• Are those Firefight-maps different from the regular maps? Or do you play firefight on the same maps you play your matchmaking on?
• Do they support avatar-award-achievements-stuff (you better look this up :D)? So will you get access to some avatar-clothes as an achievement? MS announced this feature at e3.
• In which way will bungie.net support Halo ODST? Are there any new things planned?

What does the ODST stand for?

This is a stupid question. Microsoft owns the Halo franchise, not Bungie. They stick around because they created it and they want to milk it.

Is there any correlation of new gameplay used in Halo 3: ODST with Halo: Reach?
