Yeah, this is years old. The guy also made a Super Mario 64 level editor called Toad's Tool 64.

urgh, just played it in the second link, completely messed up my computer for a bit.

^ Nah it controls just like the NES one. You can pick it up easy and the perspective is easy to adjust to.

I don't like the perspective...

The perspective is bothersome, i agree. Though it does seem like it's nice for the vertically-oriented rooms, to see further up and down, but its bad for the horizontal rooms.

Looks pretty headache inducing.
