Maybe I'm missing something that isn't present, but how is that relevant to this thread? I think your assuming that I know what you are talking about. If you are referring to something they said before about crackdown, then please link it to me so I can form an opinion, or just stick to this specific topic.

Sweet. Optimistic is good enough.

Sega also said the reviews were good. I think they're just really easily impressed.
I was expecting sales around 70000 for it's first week. So i can be cool with these numbers, if actually true. But twitter? Some homeless guy on Times Square is a far better source.
Since when is twitter a reliable link? That's used for gossip and other stuff.

“The game is already successful with us as the reviews have been pretty impressive."
Which reviews are they talking about? Anyways, it seems more of PR talk than anything else.

Well they were "good", but not "pretty impressive" like they actually said. So maybe they are slightly exaggerating, but reviews are different from sales where sales directly affect how much money they get from a game rather than reviews which just affect sales. So I think they would tend to be more truthful with sales than they are with reviews.
Edit: They also mentioned that there were some "naysayers" which means they did recognize the bad reviews.
