Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

Hopefully Spain beat Germany tonight in line with Paul the Psychic Octopus prediction. Holland versus Spain World Cup Final. Both of these teams have the chance of winning their first ever World Cup Title.

meh, unless Germany win, this will have been a pretty dissapointing World Cup imo.

oh well, not long till the new Premier League season here in England, then I can watch some much more interesting football

What, Uruguay vs. Ghana was not interesting to you? But I do agree that the thrill of having your team winning a match vs the lack of it if your team is not in the contest is huge.

it had some good games, sure, but nowhere near as many as you would expect for a WC.

the only team who have looked "world class" in this WC so far is Germany, but I just know that they will cock it up and lose to Spain, then we have two teams who didnt play well but scraped through in the final, that combined with the boring group stages (including Englands games) and the awful reffereing this WC, makes it a pretty poor imo, even a fantastic last two games would only go some way toward making this WC better.

the atmosphere at games seems poor aswel, watching on tv, there isnt the same buzz and emotion that you see at most WC's, half the stadiums are empty even in big games and then you just have people not caring and zuzuzelaing for nothing, heck at times the zuzuzelaing was more interesting than the games too, which is a pretty bad sign.

Well I think the majority will agree with me when I say that there is much much more buzz.

I second this

uruguay vs ghana was fucking boring untill the last minutes

the game yesterday  was boring as hell too , felt like a normal group stage match

no emotion in the crowd , sometimes I had the feeling that there is no crwod at all

Ok Paul predicted 5 times the right team to win.

If we say its pure luck to predict a game its a 50% chance. So the chance to predict 5 games in a row correct is

3.12%. And the chance to predict 6 games right is 1.56%. I hope Paul will be wrong this time. He has to be wrong soon.
