ITV should be banned from showing the World Cup. Their coverage is totally inferior to the BBC.

Me too. Unfortunately, it's done a lot here in the Portuguese league. The problem is that referees often go along with those players, thus allowing too many fouls which breaks the flow of the game.

 

I thought the ITV coverage was better.

Mick macarthy needs to hide his accent more and this is coming for a Lancastrian also Adrian Giles is very good as the host.

They screwed up the HD coverage >_<

Anyway, not a terrible result.

I see. Not only did they screw it up but it happened during the goal. Other than that big mistake I would say ITV was better.

No, but as usual the awful UK press are going to make a meal of this and put a whole 'despair' feeling on things.

My résumé of todays WC day:

South Korea - Greece

 - Nice game thanks to the Koreans. They played really well. Greece was massive dissapointment. Only the las 15 minutes were good.

Argentina - Nigeria

- Once more a nice game. Argentina played well, but they (especially Messi) missed a lot of good chances. Nigeria were dangerous a few times and they had an awesome keeper.

England - USA

 - Best game so far IMO. The US boys were almost equal to England and they played pretty good all around. Tim Howard played especially well. Rooney tried hard, but he wasn't able to show his true strength. Green was simply hilarious.
