If you buy a hint you should be able to rate the hint.

I bought a few hints in mario kart just to see what would happen.  And the hints are terrible.  I feel cheated out of my virtual and useless money!

I agree, and the rating should reflect for the user everywhere (some form of average). I know my hints are good, so you are safe buying those if you are stuck, however, who knows what the DB admins accepted. Sometimes we don't know anything about a game, but if you have a real problem with a hint, let us know and we'll delete it.

Or just make hints free.

Wait wait wait... You "BUY" hints? Why? Pretty much all hints are free on the internet y'know.

But this is the only way you get to lash out at stupid hints because you know who did it and you wasted money.

They are free, you just use your virtual money which you got for free. Oh, and if you complain that it costs VG$, don't complain there is nothing to use VG$ on.

I think it is a fairly cool system. There aren't many places you'll find a FAQ system like we have. There aren't a lot of FAQs in the database now, but it is growing.
