Yeah, I was thinking the same. Actually I was going to say that madskillz' blew his career as a journalist and make a living off it, if he ever dreamed of making it big.

Holy smoke, 182 comments on the Destructoid.com article in the OP, in addition to the 85 comments on the original blog article.

And this thread will get at least 500 posts since madskillz is one of our own boys.

Anybody found the Digg count yet? (Im not familiar with that stuff)

Looks like not much popularity on Digg.  Probably because no gamer wants to give his ignorant story any more publicity that it doesn't deserve.

Is it me or are most people overreacting? The Destructoid pulled some quotes together from the orginal blog making it look way worse then that it is... The orginal blog even had an question mark on it.. It seems to me that madskillz is worried that videogames are entering an area where people could be offended by the game and videogame makers should start to think about that and not use everything as an inspiration source..

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

That's called self-censorship, and it sucks ass.

So you cried a little when Six Days in Fallujah was dropped by Konami? Thinking it was wrong for Konami to drop it?

Yes, but don't tell anyone. It will harm my macho image.

I was even sad when they canned that awful looking Rendition game.

Edit: Konami is certainly within their rights to drop it, though. They got such bad feedback that they felt it wasn't going to be a financially viable project. But I understand the guys doing Six Days are pressing on with it, and while the game isn't for me, good luck to them.
