I am pretty sure that many of the 'older' members now R-type.

It was one of my favourite games on the gameboy and I was damned so happy that they
announced an R-type for PSP pity it doesn't look like fun X_X.

Known about this game for a while already. Besides, the last standard R-Type game is actually called "R-Type Final", so maybe they actually meant that.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Yeah i'm pretty sure that is just a turn-based version of R-type. Probably the old side-scroller version stopped selling so well (because they are all almost identical).

Kinda how Super Mario World (1990) was the last normal Mario Bros. sidescroller until New Super Mario Bros (2004)
