Hmm... 60m won't be a problem. I'm thinking it'll end the year just shy of 65 million, actually. Yes, there is a recession going on, but Xmas still is a huge shopping season. Sony's price will not be low enough for those trying to pinch pennies this season, and it depends on how the parents look at it. Wii, at $250, comes with a game, versus 360, at $200, not having one. And the 360 has more bargain titles, but also a slew more of new titles that are $60 versus $50 on the Wii. It's going to be a close year for those 2, and I do think that even if the PS3 goes to $300 for the holidays, it will still ultimately lag behind for the holidays; those looking to pinch the pennies won't see the value.

How come? Even if they cut the prices, PS360 still doesn't have the games Wii has, which is what is driving Wii sales. It's been a really long while since Wii was the cheapest of the three.

To be honest I'm expecting a little more, these are my worldwide predictions:

August: 1 million units
September: 1 million units
October: 1.5 million units
November: 2 million units
December: 4 million units

Overall: 9.5 million units that will lead the sales to ~61 million.
