you do realize that Wii Sports Resort will not fail right. Its already a hit in Japan and will be even more of a hit here in the US. Yeah it won't outsell the original mainly because the original was packed in with the Wii. But who cares, the Wii is getting Tales of Graces :D

Well no Tales game on any system has ever sold like FF or DQ, and if Wii Sports Resort fails to move Wiis in significant numbers, that is further evidence that the Wii won't be able to get much above the 100 million sales mark or come anywhere near  passing the  sales of the PS2.

The first Wii Sports was bundled. This isn't. Of course it ain't gonna get the numbers that the first had. But it's not going to be a failure. Just recently, it sold about half a million in over a week.

And for all that it still failed to move the Wii ahead of the PSP for one week where it was released.  I'm not going to congratulate Wii Sports Resort for failing to move the Wii ahead of the PSP in Japan for one week regardless of if its making back its development costs or not.

Yes, but it is on a steep downward slope now and has lost quite a bit year over year with more to come. It doesn't do much good to sell fast if you can't sell long. No one has ever questioned the Wii's selling power but many have questioned it's longevity (personally, I think this gen will be far shorter than we expected going into it).
