Good thing I only play quick matches online once in a blue moon, so the odds of me running into Rol are miniscule
However, when I check out the world rankings on MKWii and see about a million Mii's way ahead of mine, it makes me like the Wii just a little bit less.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.
LOL!
I've beaten Rol a couple times, which is why I love the Wii. (He's still better. -_-)

Dahuman allows us to see exactly why people begin to hate the Wii after being destroyed by Rol. Look at the hubris in his posts. There's no way his ego could survive the beating Rol would inflict. He'd just blame it on the Wii and go from there. |
exactly. Now all we have to do is pit dahuman against Rol and my theory will be proven yet again

For some reason I always race against people with 2-3 starts and 8500+ VR. I still win most of the time, but when I get a blue shell near the end it's just over... Most guys I race with are pretty good and usually you don't get too much ahead of them. It's funny when you drive against complete noobs though... Some of these guys just SUCK! But hearing the stories here about Rol, I'd probably lose, but still wanna give it a try XD

I don't play online too often but I still beat people in 8-9k range pretty easily if nubs don't throw blue shells all over the place so at least I won't get lapped I guess.
edit: and yes I've lapped plenty of people online, I don't know wtf is up with those. |
For me it tends to happen the most on the short tracks and tracks that you can fall off. All it takes is a newb to fall off Ghost Valley twice and you are almost guaranteed to lap them, but i don't recall lapping anyone one something like Waluigi Stadium.
I lapped some noobs on ghost valley 2... And that's like the shortest course lol. But god knows how many people I've lapped in rainbow road...

dood it's so easy to lap people in that game if they suck, once you get the right bike, shit's just over for the most part. I've only had this one close drag against a princess peach once and I was always only about .2s ahead until the end of the second lap where I dicked her over with a triple bannana drop on a really narrow part and it was just gg. there is a really wide gap in between really good players and normal ones, I can say that for sure though.
I used to beat Rol approximately one in three times when I raced him and was usually pretty competitive. This must be why I love the Wii.
Also, Glory does cheat and usually would still come in third or fourth. Others cheat too. This is why I quit racing in the league.
