I mean, all these games have a certain degree of rally, and I assume that Forza 3 will have too, even if Che denied it.

Like, some rally cars - all racing games have a couple of Subarus and Peugeots, rite? And some tracks that are 'rally'ish' - like tracks on winter or woody landscapes where the roads are curvy and make sharp turns and there's lots of uphill and downhill etc. This must be in Forza 3 too right? Because i remember such tracks in Forza 2.

But then if it's "officially supported" by the World Rally Organization or whatever, that's almost neglible IMO. That's just a label to sell your game (like EA's NBA 2009, NHL 2009 etc).

So what Im saying is, the typical gameplay mechanics and physics, the 'rally feel', like in Dirt - like in a true rally sim - we won't see in neither Forza 3 or GT5.

Well we don't know yet. GT5 trailer did show what looked to be a huge rally track, and it is supported by WRO, so maybe it will, but as of now, we do not know.

There's no rally sim on the market. Dirt isn't a sim. If Dirt is considered a sim, so should Grid.

I don't care, still a must have for me! Especially with that amount of cars, the number of cars was the series' biggest weakness imo.
Besides; I play rally games for rally, the "rally" parts in previous GT games are shit and I'd rather they focus their efforts on the core of the game instead (unless the rally is really good, which I highly doubt...).

Last gen, the only proper rally game was the World Rally Championship series, the official game of the FIA WRC... which was made by Evolution Studios. Shortly after the release of MotorStorm, Sony bough Evolution studios (with their satellite studio BigBig) and so acquired the WRC license, I assume, so they decided to incorporate all their sim racing games under GT 5 to accommodate rally simulation in that and have MotorStorm as a more arcade racer (this is a lot of speculation)

Seriously, give it up, GT 5 will have proper rallying

What, you even state yourself that you're just speculating! You don't know if GT5 will incorporate anything from World Rally Championship and it's developers (which I very much doubt, unless Evolution Studios is situated in Japan like PD).
