It sold the same amount as Haze and 40K less than Too Human. How can that be considered anything other than disappointing.

Usually Wii agmes have better legs than PS3 and 360 games, plus Haze and Too Human were huge projects that cost a lot of money and a lot of hype, just look at the list of Haze threads in Gaf:

Terrible, Too Human was more funny because that game was supposed to save a Canadian Town

Strong second week.

why are we using first 2 weeks, it sold 95k on its first week. That's terrible, the game will only achieve a small net income just to make another. Just horrid numbers.

Huh World at War opened to half that, sold a million, and then made activision a nice profit imagine that.

I am not surprised by these numbers, the wii only have 20 million people in NA, so when a game that Wii fans were finally waiting for because it's the first game built from the ground up and usiing the best controls this Gen, fully advvertised, 95k is excellent on the first week.

This is sad, if true. 150k in the first two weeks, that doesn't bode well for HVS. A game like The Conduit has to sell 3m copies to break even.

HVS will need to sell a lot more than 3M copies to break even, given the reported budget.  mod edit: *whap* Bad Tombi, no tricking people to get profile views.  I'm not mad, just disappointed

I doubt the Conduit will have the legs of WaW. WaW is very popular on HD consoles and that most likely influenced people to buy the Wii version.

The Conduit was over hyped to death, an exclusive, and it only pulled in modest numbers. Perhaps it'll sell a million copies in the long run, but not at the $50 price tag.

Will this game be in the NPD's ?

Looking at it 60k is pretty good for a second week.

Good lord, check the site for the hundreads of Killzone 2 threads to see what Over-hype is.

Not every Wii game will have great legs. Just take a good look at Madworld if your not convinced. I see this game dropping like a rock in NA once we see software for the month of July.

I'm pretty sure the WaW Wii commercial is what spurred sales since they picked up after Activision got around to advertising it.

But I don't know why we're discussing it, the second WaW passed the million mark on Wii, it stopped counting unless you had an argument against it.
