....Where is all this 150k talk coming from. The game only has 91k listed as week 1 in its page...

Am i missing somthing?

ioi first said: 150k

After that he posted a message: For 2 weeks.

So if Ioi is right the game did 60k the second week (quite good honestly)

Terrible sales since they dumped a ton of money in to advertising.

 Sure kid, sure.

Really?

Keep in mind that if this one does good that The Grinder and The Conduit 2 will undoubtedly do even better. This only has to make a moderate profit to help fund work on their engine and further game development.

^ This is you!

Told you even numbers this good would still get comments about flopping.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

I'd say that 150,000 after 2 weeks is quite impressive for a new IP myself.

As long as it can stay above 20k for many weeks to come i think it will be safe. It is at a disadvantage compared to COD: WAW because that game was launched in November right before holiday season. If this game dies before the holiday its not going to get much of a boost at all.

LoL, thought we'd of heard the tried and true "compared to userbase" shtick. Any talk about software sales for Wii would be lacking without that one. So I guess certain people are getting it out the way now, 150k for a week and a half worth of time and its a flop?

I think it'll breeze to a platinum title before too long and more importantly, HVS will be able to better their future products.

Bet between Slimbeast and Arius Dion about Wii sales 2009:

If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.

If the Wii sells more than 20 million in 2009 (as defined above) Arius Dion wins and gets to control Slimebeast's sig for 1 month.

Yes really, Ive seen a ton of advertising for this game on Comedy Central and Cartoon Network(Adult Swim). I know its a new IP and could have great legs, but I am afraid that the dev costs+advertising(tv spots cost a lot) could result in the death of "hardcore" (or whatever I consider games that games that aren't petz, fitness games, shovelware and the like) games for the system. I dont know what they spent on the game, nor do I want to see it fail, but I am overall hoping for alot more sales in the future and am dissapointed about the launch numbers.

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

It sold the same amount as Haze and 40K less than Too Human. How can that be considered anything other than disappointing.

people would bitch even if the numbers were higher

When you see ads in national Tv or big events like the Super Bowl or The World series you know they spend a lot in advertising..... Comedy Central and Adult Swim .... really?????
