Forums - Nintendo - Resident Evil 5 for Wii "Possible" After All

^ Seriously no one cares for your opinion if you're calling gran turismo a real driving simulator. Cars get damaged irl, didn't you know?

What capcom should do is make a true RE game for wii/ps3/xbox360 and they should all be the same except for 2 things... Not as good graphics for the wii version, and excellent motion control for the wii version.

Given the visuals on The Conduit and The Grinder I don't think the graphical quality would have to take too much of a hit, although it'd be cheaper for Capcom to use the Resident Evil 4 engine I guess. And the Resident Evil 4 graphics were pretty good on the Gamecube/Wii.

well thats some + news!

^click the license to level it up! Please, and thanks in advance!

=D

RE died with RE4 for me

Screw that. Give us Re4-2, or RE6. RE5 was not a Resident Evil game at all.

Nor was RE4, yet you ask for a RE4-2.

On topic:  He really talks about a full world game compared to a rail shooter with perfectly controlled movements, environments and enemies and thinks because the latter can have nice visuals the former could?

you beat me to it

and RE4 fans whats with all this hate towards RE5...? RE5 is RE4 with co-op and better graphics

This is true. If you're hating on RE5 you're hating on RE4 as well.

But it won't have a title screen.

Doubt enough Wii-only owners really care at this point.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

The engine would not limit the game to GC level. It doesn't matter what you think of Chop Till You Drop in this context, because objectively the scale is far larger than any area RE4 that didn't involve streaming (see all the shops for one thing).

So unless the scale of the RE5 areas is even larger than that, the graphics will be more advanced in some form.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

Remember back when 'not even the title screen was possible on Wii'. Good times :P

yeah if they made it look like Darkside Chronicles I would be happy....hell i would be happy if it looked just a little better than RE4

I'm not too savvy on how hard or easy it is to downgrade graphics from one system to another...is it hard? or time consuming? expensive? Can anyone fill me in?
