The engine would not limit the game to GC level. It doesn't matter what you think of Chop Till You Drop in this context, because objectively the scale is far larger than any area RE4 that didn't involve streaming (see all the shops for one thing).

So unless the scale of the RE5 areas is even larger than that, the graphics will be more advanced in some form.



A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
