That is a bunch of spin in that and you're forgetting Demon's Souls. It's my GOTY so far.

DirtyP2002:
To be fair, your list is hardly balanced, though.
You count things like Lips for the 360, but not games like Demon's Souls, MLB, Cross Edge and Supercar for the PS3.
Furthermore, you put bad points against just about all the PS3 games you listed, but didn't put any similar remarks against the 360 lineup when they have exactly the same problems (and in a couple of cases, have the same problem even worse).
(Also, why would you doubt MAG's release date, when it was given that date less than a month ago? You may as well doubt L4D2's or Splinter Cell's.)
Not to mention that a more cynical gamer might call L4D2 and Halo 3: ODST expansion packs masquerading as full-priced retail games.
Personally, I think 2009 is pretty much a draw between the PS3 and 360, and which line-up you prefer is gonna come down to the types of games you like.
The Wii has a killer line up, though. I think it might actually have the best one this year, looking at that list.

Oh, so this isn't a forum?

Isn't syphon filter 5 coming out as well? Or is that 2010? Because Syphon filter is a pretty epic game. |
No, it's a forum. It just seems that you came into this thread for the sole purpose to rile people up.
Re. Syphon Filter: It hasn't even been anounced yet. Maybe 2010, but 2011 is more likely. Doubt they've been working on it very long.

Why can all three console have a good lineup? Always arguing about games they will never play. As far I am concerned this year belongs to the PSP as far as games is concerned.

Well, that was not my intention... When I see something that I don't think is true, then I argue about it.

If GT5 is coming out this year as well, then it does have a better line up then other consoles.
@Psrock: I actually believe all 3 consoles have a pretty much equal line up this year. I'm even getting my super smash bros. brawl fix soon!(TMNT:smash up)

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...
I'm assuming you say Demon's Souls will as big as in reference to sales, correct?
tis good year to play games.
I'll propably get all of those games expect supercar challenge, R&C and MLB 09, I'm gonna wait for the prices to drop first though so I can afford them. I just hope yakuza 3 comes to EU, but might be wishful thinking. :/
This is more like it. These are the heavy exclusive brand titles on each console during 09. And are the ones to really determine "the year of"-whatever console. And by that i mean that all those titles have a strong brand connection to their respective console. They're also the most hyped and anticipated exclusives of 09. If you bring up any of those in a conversation, most peple quickly can identify which console they're being released on. And to down play any of them is just childish. They are all very well liked within their respective console fanbase and brings the most punch in a "2009 the year of"-INSERT CONSOLE HERE show down.
SONY
NINTENDO
MICROSOFT
And I, since this is a matter of prefrence, feel as if Sony has a higher overall standard of games this year than the competition.
