To be fair, your list is hardly balanced, though.

You count things like Lips for the 360, but not games like Demon's Souls, MLB, Cross Edge and Supercar for the PS3.

Furthermore, you put bad points against just about all the PS3 games you listed, but didn't put any similar remarks against the 360 lineup when they have exactly the same problems (and in a couple of cases, have the same problem even worse).

(Also, why would you doubt MAG's release date, when it was given that date less than a month ago? You may as well doubt L4D2's or Splinter Cell's.)

Not to mention that a more cynical gamer might call L4D2 and Halo 3: ODST expansion packs masquerading as full-priced retail games.

Personally, I think 2009 is pretty much a draw between the PS3 and 360, and which line-up you prefer is gonna come down to the types of games you like.

The Wii has a killer line up, though. I think it might actually have the best one this year, looking at that list.
  1. Okay, remove Lips... Demon Souls / Supercar will be as big as Battlestations Pacific / Race Pro / Velvet Assassin / Ninja Blade etc.
  2. The Xbox360 games do not have the same problems. All are sequels to established franchises and all of them got pretty good review scores and sales (except Magna Carta and Lips)
  3. I never meant to doubt MAGs release-date. I just said "we will see", because I have no clue how critics will rate this and how much it might sell. That is what I wanted to say. The release-date is this year, no doubt.
  4. L4D2 is just a sequel as every other sequel out there. Halo ODST is an add-on, with its own campaign, multiplayer mode, mappack, and beta key. There is a lot of value behind this and there are millions of fans waiting for this. Just a fanboy would try to play it down like this.
  5. Wii has the lineup with the greatest sales incoming - thats for sure. But as a hardcore gamer like myself... just not my type of games. Great for those who are looking forward to these games though.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...
