yeah.
Wait, you think Red Steel is the most expensive Wii game to date?

This is happening a lot lately. Do I have a massive "NOT SARCASM!" sign above all of my posts?
Yes, it is successful, just some morons seem to think it's a flop. Like KZ2. And Resistance 2. These same people call No More Heroes a success >.<
Sales wise on the HD console it has to be Lair (yeah even less then Too Human). Still a lot of false information about Too Humans production popping up again. The game was not in full development for 10 years (that was 4), and what exactly was this huge promotional budget Microsoft used for it? There wasn't one Too human commercial on tv.
Lair had horrible controls and terrible sales numbers, so its up there. There have been a lot of flops though since so many games are released.
my vote goes to The Conduit just because ioi took too long to release its numbers.

Dead Rising on the Wii also flopped pretty hard (but that's probably a good thing).
I think Lair is a bigger flop than both of these though.

What have I done to get insulted like that? Is it so hard to understand that some games (usually first party) have an extra qualifier to be called a success, because Nintendo/Sony/Microsoft also expected the game to drive hardware sales? For example Wii Music and Animal Crossing have certainly been profitable which is the usual measurement of success (profitability, not a specific number like 1m in sales), but both games failed to sustain Wii momentum like they were planned to do. You could call these games flops, but it's better to mention the extra qualifier everytime you do that because people get confused otherwise. No More Heroes never had the burden to move hardware and it's budget was so low that even sales of 400k were enough to make it a success, hence it gets a sequel and Suda is already talking about a third game. Or were you being sarcastic? If so, you did a pretty good job. |
You got it in the end
LBP still isn't a failure, though.

Eek, 340k. I thought it did somewhere in the realm of 500k. That is bad, you're right.
My vote goes to Mario Kart Wii because thanks to it and Rol, everyone hates the Wii.
I think BC: Rearmed has made them money back. Since the PSN version is getting updated with trophies there will be a massive boost in sales for it.
