Me too, I'm 31 and I think both looks ugly :

- The XBox has nice curves but looks plastic

- The PS3 look more solid but has weird forms

 

Both looks like cheap home commodities appliances. The rest of my setup looks great in comparison... (Marantz, B&W...)

(I don't know what a media center is suppose to look like...a pc box with some noise and lights ? )

Funny, I much prefer the PS3 look to the 360 and Wii.  Both of those have external power bricks and an annoying maze of wires compared to PS3 which is totally self contained - the main aspect I look for.

Wii looks best overall though due to neat size, while the 360 plastic and feel comes across as a bit cheap for me.  The only pain with the PS3 is it is bulky.

The PS3 is the only one I leave out under the TV (cables in the wall) with Wii to the side and pulled into place for use.

 

 



Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

Yeah, I agree with all that, I can't stand power bricks either.

The PS3 is definitely too big though, you're right...

This is something I am VERY surprised about that noone really mentions on this site how ugly the PS3 is, it's always talked about and made fun of in the UK, some of our biggest radio stations call it the "sony grill" instead of the PS3 lol, Radio 1 is always promoting the 360 as the main DJ's all have 360's (and some have wii's) as always yapping on about COD4 lol, not heard anyone one on there saying they have a PS3.

And yeah, totally agree, I think the PS3 is one of the ugliest consoles ever, it's the only console I don't leave on show under my TV, it's kept in a cabinet with the door shut (partially because we never play it these days), the 360 and Wii take pride under my TV on full display.


You say that you're PS3 owner but you always talked bad about it. I remember you being happy about Activision threatening sony and saying how all 3rd party developers will abandon PS3 and than Sony will disconnect it. What kind of PS3 owner want 3rd party and 1st party games not to come to PS3??? Probably the fake one who is pretending to be PS3 owner just in case when someone calls him fanboy and he says ''I am not fanboy i own all 3 consoles''

This funny joke thread would be correct if you know those statements about no price cut for the PS3 this year are true, especially if the other two console makes cut their prices.

I do own a PS3 and yes I know I do have a habit of slagging it off a lot but that is because I am far from impressed with it, this affects you in what way exactly? are you telling me you have been happy with everything you have bought?

Same as the Wii, I also own one but don't play it much and hate it's online functions and controls, does that mean I don't own one of those either lol? same as the Nokia N95, I hated that too, sold it and got an Iphone,

Just because I own something doesn't automatically mean I am going to love it like you. the PS3 is the worst console I have owned this generation, does this mean I don't own one lol,

 

And why on earth would I want to pretend I own a PS3 lmao, I don't feel it's anything to gloat about owning one same as 360 and wii.

Same thing for me as FKN.

I mean I've got a 360 and I still think it's the worst possible console ever. It's been collecting dust since last november and Gears 2.

So I definitely believe what he says is possible.

The reason why I won't sell my PS3 is simple, GT5 and maybe Unchartered 2, those are the only two games on that system that I really want to play, and when I said the comments about the Activision thing I was harsh, but I could see where their CEO was coming from, they want Sony to drop the price to be able to sell a lot of games to it's users, without a price cut this won't happen.

Last game I bought on PS3 was Killzone 2 which I played for a week then returned (Game in the uk have a 10 day returns) and bought Halo Wars on 360 instead, never regretted it once!
